Each project starts with understanding the context, conditions, and challenges surrounding the brand. Rather than relying on a fixed style or formula, we establish a direction and set of criteria suited to each situation, and develop the design from there.
We see brand design not simply as the creation of form, but as a process of clarifying and shaping what a brand should express and how it should be articulated. Based on function and necessity, we define clear objectives and build a visual language through graphics, imagery, and typography. From structures shaped by need and purpose, saga studio creates work in which a brand’s role, impression, and rhythm come together naturally as one language.
Alongside our practice, we continue to research design and branding, publishing related perspectives and case studies through content in various formats.
각 프로젝트는 브랜드가 놓인 맥락과 조건, 그리고 해결해야 할 문제를 파악하는 것에서 시작합니다. 정해진 스타일이나 방식에 의존하기보다, 상황에 맞는 방향과 기준을 설정하고 그에 따라 디자인을 전개합니다.
브랜드 디자인은 단순히 형태를 만드는 일이 아니라, 브랜드가 무엇을 어떻게 드러낼 것인지 정리하고 구체화하는 과정에 가깝습니다. 기능과 필요를 바탕으로 목표를 설정한 뒤, 그래픽, 이미지, 타이포그래피를 포함한 시각 언어를 구성해 나갑니다. 그 과정에서 saga studio는 필요와 목적이 만드는 구조를 바탕으로, 역할과 인상, 리듬이 하나의 언어 안에서 자연스럽게 이어지도록 설계합니다.
